Fayetteville Track Team Shines At Regional Track Meet

Fayetteville track team competed strong at the regional track meet On April 29-30. Here are the team scores from the meet.

 

Girls

Brooklyn (100 Meters)  1st place with a time of 12.57 setting a new school record. (State Qualifier)

Brooklyn (200 Meters) 1st place with a time of 26.90. (State Qualifier)

Brooklyn (Long Jump) 2nd place with a jump of 16' 3 1/2" (State Qualifier)

Brooklyn (High Jump) 4th place with a jump of 4 ft 10"

Rylie (Pole Vault) 5th place with a height of 7ft. 

Girls 4 x 100 relay team of (Kailey, Jeslyn, Kayme, and Brooklyn) got 4th place setting a new school record with a time of 52.984

Girls 4 x 400 relay team of (Jeslyn, Kayme, Emma, and Jaden) got 6th place with a time of 4:38.

 

The Girls Team was 6th place overall with 44 points (7 points behind the 1st place team of Abbott).

 

Boys

 

Cole (3200 Meters) got 1st place with a time of 10:33  (State Qualifier)

Cole (1600 Meters) got 4th place with a time of 4:58

Ottis (300 Hurdles) got 6th place with a time of 44.35

Keagan (Triple Jump) got 6th place with a jump of 41 ft 11 1/2"

Boys 4 x 200 relay team of (Reid, Brody, Logan, and Keagan) got 3rd place setting a new school record with a time of 1:35.09

Boys 4 x 400 relay team of (Reid, Logan, Ottis, and Keagan) got 1st place with a new school record time of 3:36  (State Qualifier)

 

The boys team finished 2nd overall while the girls team finished 6th overall and were only 7 points from first place. The following athletes advanced to the state meet.
