🔎Learning in Action: 6th grade is learning about pure substances and mixtures!🔎
They mixed salt and water, sugar and water, and sand and water to see which were homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures!

🧪🔎Learning in Action: 7th grade is learning about counting atoms and elements in chemical equations!🔎🧪

They put yeast, water and sugar in a container to see carbon dioxide gas produced during cellular respiration.

Then they modeled the chemical equation using strings and beads.
